Pamlico Community College Overview
The Cosmetology curriculum provides competency-based knowledge, scientific/artistic principles and hands-on training for the cosmetology industry. The curriculum is taught in a simulated salon environment where students develop their skills. Coursework includes instruction in all phases of professional cosmetology, including hair design, chemical processes, skin care, nail care, multi-cultural practices, business/computer principles, product knowledge, and other selected topics.
