General requirements for a plumber license?
• Apprentice Plumber – You must be at least 18 years of age. You must apply within 30 days of beginning work.
• Journeyman Plumber – You must have four years and at least 7,600 hours of experience working as an apprentice plumber under a licensed master plumber. You must pass an exam.
• Master Plumber – You must be at least 21 years of age. You must have at least two years (3,400 hours) of experience working as a journeyman plumber. You must also pass an exam.
