An Overview of North Dakota Barber Association

The association concentrates on the business of barbering. Each barber has a vote when choosing officials or naming potential board members. The board meets three times each year, a regular gathering at the yearly show in the spring, a fall meeting typically held in the center of the state, and a winter meeting in the city where the next show will be held. These gatherings are available to all association members.

The Barber Board of Examiners is chosen from membership. They select a list of five names. The list is sent to the Governor and he then appoints one of the nominees to the board.
