Getting Licensed to Become a Microblading Artist
To become a registered microblade artist, you’ll need certification and licensing. Certification is earned by successfully completing a registered course within microblading. To become licensed, you must first have a certification. By becoming a licensed artist, you are likely to have less competition as clients will feel safer with you and your professionally licensed services. Every state has their own specific rules and regulations in place for microblade artists, so it is essential for you to conduct your own research into the requirements of your state. Some states have age restrictions in place for training and employment or require a high school education or the equivalent. Most states also require their artists to be at least 16 years old.
