General requirements for a plumber license?
• Journeyman Plumber – You must show a minimum of at least two years and 4,000 hours of experience in plumbing installations as a licensed trainee plumber supervised by a licensed master plumber. Or you must have at least 2,000 hours of work experience within the last four years as a licensed journeyman-in-training working under the supervision of a licensed master plumber. You must pass an exam.
• Master Plumber – You must have at least one year with 2,000 hours of experience in plumbing installations as a licensed journeyman plumber. Or you must have at least four years with 8,000 hours of experience in plumbing installations as a licensed trainee plumber supervised by a licensed master plumber.
