In the state of Idaho a plumbers license is required to perform any plumbing work. To become a licensed plumber in Idaho, any business or individual performing work as a plumber is required to pass the Idaho plumbing exam issued by the Idaho Division of Building Safety. The Idaho Plumbing license covers unlimited commercial and residential plumbing but does NOT cover fuel gas or boiler systems.
