Become a Professional Eyebrow Threader by Getting Licensed
To become a registered threading technician, there are two specific requirements needed – certification and licensing. Certification is earned by successfully completing a registered course within the field of esthetics. To become licensed, you must first have a certification. While it is not compulsory to become licensed within every state, it is highly recommended. By becoming a licensed threading technician, you are likely to have less competition as clients will feel safer with you and your professionally licensed services. Every state has its own specific rules and regulations in place for threading technicians, so it is essential for you to conduct your own research into the requirements of your work in your state. Some states have age restrictions in place for training and employment or require a high school education or the equivalent. Most states also require eyebrow artists to be at least 16 years old.
