Mercer University Overview
At Mercer University, the Substance Abuse Counselor Certification program is designed to meet the educational requirements, skills and certification necessary to counsel those suffering from substance abuse. The program can be finished in half a year, allowing professionals to remain productive at work while obtaining the education required for a Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor I (CADC I) or a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (CADC II). The program curriculum also meets the educational requirements of the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC) and the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Certification Board of Georgia.
