Professional Associations for a Life Coach

One of the main objectives of life coaching associations is to link the people who want coaching with the people who coach. In addition they are a good place to inform the general public about the practices of a life coach and what to expect, including the level of standards and ethics. They exist also to help provide quality training for coaches and the supervision of an overseeing entity and regulator to this professional community. An example of this is the The American Coaching Association or ACA. Groups like these better help coaches become more organized, develop management skills, provide structure, support and encouragement, while also offering a safe place to discuss workplace challenges and changes.
